This is very well done. Your sense of perspective to create depth and volume is perfect. I love these soft colors, and the warm tones of the structure contrast perfectly with the deep cool greens of the background. And well done with the reflections, this is not easy to do! I also like the dark shadows you have on the rooftop dormer windows. Don't be afraid to darken the shadows on the building itself. You can use a darker version of the rose/peach color. This will enhance the sense of volume. Well done.
@alexhillkurtzart Thank you Alex for your feedback and compliments. Actually I made this painting twice. With regard to the first version I was not really happy and identified more than 15 points of improvement. Including improving the water reflections, more contrast light and dark, avoiding muddy colors, more variation in the green of the trees, less details. And this worked out well. You are right the shadows on the building can be darker. I think by adding more blue to the rose/peach color but I was afraid of the effect. Next challenge will be to apply a more loose style like you do. Regards, Peter
