My project for course: Contemporary Oil Portraiture

Attached is my A4 portret painted along the guidelines of Torsten Wolber.
I am very happy with the result:
The background still shows the original colours
By taking away the paint the image started to pop out immediately
I really tried to add the paint in one move. The only thing that did not work was to add paint with the palet knife. I am not comfortable with that but I used a large bristle brush.
The Zerstörung helped a little but I found the painting already dynamic enough.
In finishing the painting I improved the painting but lost a little of the variation in colours from the beginning.
