As a child and teenager, I drew a lot. Until I entered design school. From there, I started to draw less and less, until I stopped drawing at all.
10 years later and a burnout, I started a sketchbook. I drew all my negative thoughts, hoping to exorcise them somehow. That's when I started drawing again.
This summer, after a physical injury this time, I started this new, much more positive sketchbook of all the things I've seen or experienced and wanted to remember.
I chose to use colored pencils because I always found their rendering spontaneous and colorful. This was something very important to me, because as a designer I work with software where things can be erased and reworked, until they are "perfect".
It's not really a project, but here are some of my favorite pages.
To be honest I don't really like this second drawing of Josselin, despite spending a lot of time on it. Maybe the colors, maybe the composition, I don't know. But that's life.
