My project in Editorial Illustration for Magazines course

I am still in the process of creating my editorial illustration but thought I will share what I have done so far. I feel quite proud of it because in a way it opened a new door for me in my creative process.

I work on a cartoons project where I draw comics with my bunny rabbit. I portrayed myself using the tips for the course - a colour pallet found in an image that inspires me, representing myself through another animal or an object.

I also took a couple of pictures from Pinterest and broken them down into the colour pallets. I show the inspiration and the pallet next to it.

I feel a large part of the success of the editorial illustrators I aspire to comes from a narrowed down, interesting colour pallet.
