Rainy Day

Was planning to make painting of a street in a rainy day. Before my painting I did a couple really small and fast thumbnails just to explore values, composition and my perspective. Also did fast study paintings too. The more you study the subject the more confident you become. This way you do painting with least amount of brush strokes and more confident. This was mainly a study painting with a monochrome tone but ended up pretty nice and I wanted to share. While practicing I also use photos and some watercolors masters paintings for reference such as Joseph and Alvaro.
