How many pages, congratulations on your work, Monica! Once again I apologize for the delay.
You had told us in the previous practice that you were going to draw about your trip, I remember each province in a color. I am left wondering if this project and that are the same, if they will be joined later or are they two different things.
I think the pictures on these pages look very attractive. I like the saturation of the colors and that the texture of the material can be seen. They are crayons, right?
I also think that it can be very interesting to think about the figure of Magellan from the present. What you outline in the first pages leaves me with intrigue and I would like to know a little more. Who is the narrator of this story, that girl who appears in the first panel writing in a notebook? Will we know more about her in the next few pages? What is your link with this historical figure? Those are some of the doubts that arise in me.
I like the layout of the pages, with the vignettes glued to each other. I think I would revise the way you wrote the text a bit. In some vignettes I noticed that the space was small and some words you had to abbreviate them, for example. Those are things that can be seen and corrected when the project is more advanced, or even at the end. But it seems important to me that the text has the same dedication that is seen in the drawings, that the reading is as clear as possible.
I don't know if you know the work of Juan Vegetal, I think it may interest you because I see an affinity in the type of drawing. Maybe it serves as inspiration!
https://www.instagram.com/juanvegetal/ We hope to know how your story continues!
Hello Maria! Thanks a lot!
I'm going to review the points you listed, you are absolutely right!
And yes, the Ruta 40 project is on my desk, but I can't move forward or rather, I'm not entirely happy with the result of the illustrations.
So I let him rest for a while and while I did this Magellan.
I didn't know Juan Vegetal, I loved him! I'm sure I'm going to learn something :)
A hug and see you on the networks! : D
