I'm a costume designer, I've been working with theater for 14 years, but I'm looking to learn concept art, costume concept to be more specific. I bought your Character Design course for Concept Art, I haven't started yet because I still need to have a better security in relation to digital painting. Drawing and digital painting are new to me.
Looking at your work, what catches my attention the most, for the beauty you manage to create, is the shape of the brushstrokes. His brushstroke is looser, there are no sharp or defined lines or contours. In your course, do you teach how to use brushes to obtain a result close to those of your projects?
PS: I will not use Ps to draw and paint. I will use Procreate
Well, the course is more directed to how to proceed before a character design, from the first sketches to the final finish, regardless of the technique. It can be used . procreate, photoshop, cryta, clip studio, or you can even draw traditionally. The important thing about the course is how to proceed, following the steps and the feedback I give. It is the best way to do the course, with my advice and help, since that way you get more out of the course.
In the course I do not give classes or ways to paint, since the course is focused on character design. But I have several videos where you can see how I make the brushstrokes, there is no mystery. It is knowing what brushes you can use for one thing or another. It's basically like painting traditionally :)
@jalexanderguillen thanks for your feedback.
about the videos you mentioned, are they on your profile here on Domestika or on another platform like YT?
