Hi Ingela. I want to thank you VERY much for an absolutely FANTASTIC course! I loved all the poster examples you showed us, and it was so much fun trying to adapt a motif to the different styles. I thought I was just going to do a cafe theme, but it ended up becoming a BEST FRIENDS theme. My best friend and I used to go out every Saturday night to movies and supper, and this poster theme was inspired by all the wonderful times we had together. She has now moved to the US, so I miss our times together very much.
I do not have Illustrator or Procreate or a tablet, so the second and third posters were done in Photoshop using a mouse. They are not very neat, and I do apologise for that. The Bauhaus one particularly is not that successful, because I was just using the Shapes function in Photoshop and a mouse and I got very frustrated. But I learnt a lot which is the main thing! Thanks again, and I hope you do another course really soon. Best wishes, Sandi

Professeur PlusThank you for your kind words and a very nice presentation and text! Makes me happy that you felt that you learned things. I do like the Bauhaus-inspired one, sometimes it´s good to have a challenge, like only having shapes to work with for example. Well done!

@hello_ingela Hi Ingela. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. So glad you like the Bauhaus one!! The limited palette was also a huge challenge for me on that one. I don't work with primary colours much. I found the Cuban posters by Bachs hugely inspiring, and am so glad you introduced me to them. Thanks again for a very inspiring course. Best wishes, Sandi
