As for taking photographs, I recommend that you try to do it with natural light. And if it is not possible, just use a point of light (a lamp, never the camera flash). Try to ensure that the point of light creates an illuminated environment, perhaps bouncing off a surface and illuminating the drawing. But do not let it directly hit the sheet, as it will create highlights in the graphite. Then you can always edit the image, raise the light, create more contrast and even change the undertone of the artificial light if you prefer✨
