Excellent course where I mainly learned about the writing process. The professor is generous and takes the time to explain his entire thought process in quite detail.

This course has catapulted me to a new level! The printing technique presented looks like a linocut, but is much easier to create. The process is explained step by step in the course. With knowledge of Photoshop or a similar program, I was able to try it out myself straight away. Great course!

Catarina, a great author and illustrator, is very didactic. I think a lot of the course deals with the specific technique it proposes and that part seemed a little long for me. The references are very interesting. He explains everything very well and is very pleasant to see.

The course is quite interesting and thought-provoking, as it introduces us to the creative process of the teacher and her artistic experience.

This course offers so much bang for your buck! Not only do we see the artist's process for how to develop a nonfiction book for children but we get an in-depth step by step tutorial for how to do illustrations in a unique way. Through the course assignments I've got a list of some new book and story ideas and I'm so thankful for that. I'm also a better artist for knowing about the illustration method. Thank you so much!
