About the video: Who Are We?

Overview

“We are Sofia and Lane. The design world and our common interests brought us together. We started doing some work together and building our portfolio. We found that we both had a strong focus on creating what we call "heavy" brands, and that naturally led to the creation of the Heavy studio. Currently we are a team made up of designers and illustrators of very varied styles and characteristics, which further enriches our creation process. More than logos, brands transmit concepts, emotions and strength. We work on branding , corporate identity, packaging and design in its various forms. A sense of humor, the audacity to break rules, the structuring of our creative process and the development of close relationships with our clients are the bases of our structure and what sets us apart as a studio. We are very clear that always looking to give the extra is one of the keys for our clients to continue bringing us projects. ”

Heavy is a graphic design studio from Guadalajara, México, specialized in branding strategies and communication, corporate identity, illustration, packaging design, and editorial design.

They specialize in the creation of flexible identities, where the logo is only the tip of the iceberg. Their work is backed by a strong communication strategy and complemented by a series of graphics that provide versatility and dynamism to the brands they work with.

Heavy has designed for brands such as LinkedIn, Biossance, and the Feria Internacional de la Música. However their favorite projects are businesses starting out, when the client is open to getting involved in the process, as well as giving them freedom to experiment and suggest ideas.
