This is my final Project. I tried to follow along each of Sams steps while making this. As you can see in the video I keep looking at my first draft in order to find the right colors and remind myself of the general idea I had in mind. However once I finished the face I experimented with a couple of different shapes and ideas before I decided on the elements I wanted to use in my final version. This was a completely new approach for me because I don't usually make a detailed concept and sketches before I start the process. However it has really helped me in creating something with more interest and detail and I am actually very happy with the outcome. I especially fell in love with the Bonobo Chalk on the procreate app, which I used lightly to add different colors to her skin.

Professor PlusThank you for sharing! You are very good at rendering faces, I love the different temperatures in the skin tone. Overall colors are great too.

Really like this. Still so new to dig painting, how did do a colour change after shading? Apologies for such a newbie question @marlenedylan

@quickdraw sorry only just seen this. If you are using the app procreate you can click on modify and then change hue ,saturation, brightness etc and change the colors. hope this was helpful. :)
