Amazing project! I really like seeing the stages that you went through to get to this inspiring image. I think the landscape looks perfect and idyllic, and it's quite interesting seeing it mirrored in the computer of what you are creating. I like that it feels hopeful and beautiful, but then putting in this dark brick wall to block the view makes it very contemplative. I think it really shows your concept of creative block very well, and you really feel for the lightbulb character with the dim light trying to see through, because that shows something that we all of go through as artists. I also love the nice touch of the discarded lightbulbs on the ground, it definitely makes you think deeper into this piece which is great. I only have a couple of ideas for technical advice, first with a cast shadow like this you could break up the hard edges by letting more of the plants along the sides come into the light a bit more in your layer masks. And I think the perspective of the brick wall looks just slightly off from ground plane, so that might be something to experiment with a bit using transform tools. And finally I might crop the image in more and take out some of the top and left side, to center it more and take out a bit of the empty space. But overall I think this is fantastic, a very creative and unique project representing a powerful theme. I hope you learned a lot of new techniques from this course and explore more of what you can create using digital collage. Definitely keep practicing and refining your style and process, and experiment to bring more of your ideas to life.
@nick_pedersen Thank you very much, Nick, for the comments. I will definitely keep working to improve and perfect the technique more and more. I am proud of the work I did but at the same time aware that I need to keep improving continuously! Just one more question, when could I have the certificate?
