First of all, I apologize for taking so long to comment on your work, but I have been traveling non-stop for the last few months.
It's a fantastic drawing!! Nice to see you on this course! I also see that it gave you pleasure to do it!
I really like the sense of depth given by perspective and the different shades of color/shadows and how the focus of interest is very clear.
The reflexes are fantastic too!
As you say, the first drawing is already quite expressive.
I really like how you use white, as a “negative space” and element of contrast with the treetops; however, I think you went a little overboard with that white gel (it's a very personal opinion) .
@yolahugo_ Thanks for the feedback! It's on time. As for what you said, I totally agree and add some sensations I had. I think the blue cast shadows were too "lit". If I were to do it again I would work with a "warm gray", dark and light, or lighter on white. But above all I really enjoyed doing it in that language. I liked the result in the trees, summarized way of solving the buildings and control of the focus of interest.
Thank you for your structured teachings in the course, congratulations also for your work and trajectory.
Big hug!
Hello again. I would like some help with the ink used in the Lamy pen. What specific Rohrer & Klingner brand ink would you use? I saw on their website that there are several. What would be the waterproof one?
