Hand Study

I present you an hand study (model Linartica).
I'm constantly searching for answers from the great Masters from the past, especially the Renaissance time! So many studies and great drawings that can inspire us and show us the way.... I feel very fortunate to be able to study everyday and learn and experiment and make art!

The materials used for this quick sketch are Canson Mulin du Roy cotton cold press paper, toned with cerulean blue watercolor. The drawing is made mostly with charcoal and sanguine with highlights in white chalk added towards the end. A few more expressive lines are done with Conté sanguine which is more fat than the Rembrandt sanguine used throughout the drawing.
