A watercolour map illustration for a new Wine subscription magazine Glug. I enjoy using a variety of mediums to create my illustrations and this one used brush pen paired with watercolour. I think it gives the pages a fresh, clean aesthetic.

Beautiful! Finally I see a map with a country from Eastern Europe. These countries are a bit forgotten, even if they are so rich in culture, traditions, architecture and nature. They are beautiful. Well done Melanie! Love it! 💖

Professor Plus@leona_tsiara Thanks Leona! Glad to hear too, and totally agree these parts are overlooked. I did a map of Croatia recently and in my research found out how beautiful the place is.
