Hello again!! Here is my project for the Storyboards Illustration for Film and Television course. I hope you like it and that Pablo will correct me whatever he sees fit. a greeting
Thanks for uploading your final project. It has been very good. I really like the style of the line and the posed camera setting, narratively it is very specific and it works.
What initially strikes me is the format you have chosen. I do not know if fleeing from the panoramic format has been an express compositional decision. I would like to know, as it is an important decision that you have made when choosing the 1-1: 85 format. The frames have been very interesting in this format.
As for the slogans, only two comments:
CHANGE OF FOCUS:
- Shot 120A-B: I guess the focus shift is to Billie and Susan in the background. You have written it in the description, but it is not appreciated in the bullets.
- Plane 130B-C: With the type of lens seen (normal) and the distance between hand and character, the change of focus would be almost imperceptible, hand and character are occupying very similar terms in plane. The effect is not appreciated in the drawing either, only in the description.
SHAFT CHANGE:
- I only see a very subtle change in axis in shot 170. In this shot, 3/4 of Jane is so minimal that we might think that it is also on the camera axis. In any case it is valid, you have started from the resource of the plane in the axis of the group and then from Billie, supported with the direction of gaze of this to the corresponding square area. We take them for good!
Thank you for your comments.
At first I wanted to put it in a different format than panoramic, I started drawing, I tried the 1-1: 85 format and I liked how the frames were.
Regarding the changes of focus, you are totally right, I should have exaggerated the blurring more in the 120A-B shot, because it is barely visible in the vignette, and in the 130B-C shot there is hardly any distance between the hand and the character to perform the focus shift.
Regarding the axis change, I should have better marked the situation of the characters to 3/4, even lateral, to better appreciate the change.
Thank you very much again! I have enjoyed the course and learned a lot!

I would like to know if you would recommend some interesting scripts download page to continue practicing and develop a professional dossier with which to show my storyboard work.
Any comment and / or recommendation within the sector will be welcome.
