Planet Calor 7

The barren ground covered in ash. The air thick with a dense heat. A deafening hum emits from the planet itself. the sharp landscape pushes outwards as a warning to anything wanting to traverse this inhabitable place.

wanted to do something monochromatic and a bit more illustrative with the arnold toon shaders, this was so fun to make!!

Here you can see I used the hatching technique from the tutorial to use as the shadowed areas, as well as using Ambient Occlusion as mask for it.

the plane I masked it with a c4d noise, the same with the sky.

completed the scene with photoshop adding the border around the scene to frame it up nicely.
