Good night, Daniel! Congratulations on your podcast, I couldn't access it here, but I went to Spotify and had access to the episode in its entirety.
I really like the subject, it's a full plate for mothers of young children, like me. ; )
Some important points I noticed:
1 - Your idea of doing a pilot episode is great, but I suggest that your presentation be shorter and more agile. The more straight to the point you are, the better!
2 - Beware of plurals! You're eating the "s" at times and that takes away the credibility of your content.
3 - The BG with birds singing is beautiful! Even more so because they are real. ; )
4 - Watch out for the wind noise on the microphone.
5 - When you start talking about the subject in question, I understand that you want to give pauses for reflection, but they can be shorter. In podcast and radio, pauses should not be so long as they compromise the rhythm of the content.
In addition, everything is very good, sound quality, you have mastery of the subject, you are super friendly and affectionate with your listener, in short, we have a great path ahead.
Thank you so much for the company here and, any questions, call me!
@isabellasaes it's an honor to receive your comment, this is very respectful feedback.
Yes, about the "S" I'm trying to improve, I'm going to start noting a reminder of the "S" in the script to reinforce and also practice a lot of reading aloud.
I have a new shotgun mic with windshield but when I recorded it I only had the plain lapel.
I'll reduce the pauses for reflection too (oops! a new idea came up here about this).
Thank you very much for the guidance and congratulations for your course, I confess that I really want to develop a course too. T+
@danielvianna Hi Daniel! If a new idea comes up, let's put it into practice. It's just a few details that you get right and you're already giving your product another face. Glad you liked the course, if you can leave a review there in the space reserved for that, it helps a lot!! ; ) And if you feel like teaching, boraaaaa!!! Congratulations and success always.
@isabellasaes and course students [Atualização do meu podcast]Hello, now we have the video podcast option, at first I was scared. How am I going to make a video keeping the same sound track?
After a few days of thinking, sketching and testing the video capture a lot, I had some notes about it:
1-Editing video is more complicated, requires a more appropriate location, more time in editing, smaller time window to record, etc. I'm still looking for a program that can reduce this editing work more, I currently use a 9-year-old notebook and a basic cell phone.
2-In my case, maintaining the sound identity of the video episode was the biggest challenge. I usually use the "pauses for reflection" but in video I wasn't able to create this, until some ideas came to me that I put in this Ep 5
3-Apart from some flaws, I found the result of the first video episode satisfactory, the "pauses for reflection" became shorter, it was a breath of inspiration that made me feel calmer. I have new plans for the next videos.
4-Episode on video even though it is more difficult to do can open up many interesting possibilities.
I'm still studying a way to optimize production, let's talk.
