I have really enjoyed this course and I have learned so much. I still have a long way to go but I am starting to be more relaxed when painting. I am also trying not to overwork my pieces. I have had difficulty in painting the muzzle area of animals but I think I am making progress. The more I practice the better hopefully I will become.
I have included my recent painting of a golden eagle as I wanted to show the EYE. Based on your tutorial in unit 3 I think I have captured a little of the light. I have had lots of compliments on this piece.
Thank you very much for your inspiration in my watercolour journey. I hope to join you in other courses in the future.

    Aw thank you so much Crysella, that’s so good to hear. Both the highland and the eagle are wonderful. You’ve captured so many textures in the latter, from the shininess of the eye to the smoothness of the beak and the layers of the feathers. Really well done!!
