"Northern Lights" Tutorial Painting

This demo was a super fun combination of several different techniques that I had learned across the internet for painting northern lights. It was fun to experiment with blending light in a similar way to how it blends in real life. By layering tendrils of opaque white paint underneath stripes of transparent greens, blues and purples you achieve this incredibly realistic look when dragging the paint upwards with a dry brush!
