Woman portrait with poppy and hare

I entered this year's 100dayproject to practice portrait drawing. I started with it, but found after some time that simply drawing portraits, without anything else, becomes kind of boring after some time (see last unfinished portrait).

So I took some fotos of my pinterest board for inspiration. I was drawn to the astronaut illustration because I had worked with a palette before which included the red and the cold green. I changed my former palette a little bit. Also I paid attention to that the final illustration could be printed as screenprint.

Then I made first a sketch with pencil and a drawing with pen. Afterwards I started to work in photoshop, but soon found that I should redraw the illustration. I transfered to procreate as I can achieve there a better line quality.

Inbetween I found that I need the cold violet as one more colour. Wich offered also more possibilities while colorizing the leaves. Finally:
