Hi Ingela. Thank you for a truly wonderful course. I learnt so much. I wanted to get the feel of Italy with the colours. I tried all different combinations, and this one seemed to emphasise the green, red and white of the Italian flag, and still be a bit colourful. It was interesting that when I added more vibrant colours, the green, red and white got lost and it didn't feel Italian anymore. I decided to add the words for the numbers on the back, so that they could see the spelling as well. I really enjoyed hunting for Vintage Fonts that worked. It was such a fantastic exercise in terms of design and composition and colours. I found it quite difficult to keep the basic structure of the counter and floor, and still make each page interesting and varied. I did the drawings manually and then coloured them in using Corel Painter, as I do not have Procreate or Illustrator. That is why they are not that neat! My Leporello is small - each page is only 5.5 x 7.5 cm. But it does look really cute!
Thank you very much for such an amazing course. I am busy with your Poster course at the moment and enjoying it immensely!!!! I hope you do another course really soon. Best wishes, Sandi

Teacher PlusSo nice to read your text about your thoughts. I wanted to say that I liked the colors a lot, even before I read your text, they feel very well thought out and harmonic. It leaves space also to focus on the drawing if you understand what I mean. I also like the pizza baker a lot, lots of character, I like that he looks a little bored :) Well done!

@hello_ingela Hi Ingela. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. So glad you thought my colours worked well, and that you liked my chef! Yes, he is a bit tired of all these demanding cats asking for pizzas! Thanks again for a fantastic course. Best wishes, Sandi
