Ana Milena Hernández Palacios, creative director of Masquespacio, was born in Colombia but has lived in Spain since she was young. She has been involved in the world of interior design and decorating ever since she can remember. She began working as a window dresser, but soon discovered her growing passion for interior design and decided to study interior architecture.
As soon as she finished her degree, she founded Masquespacio in order to explore her creative abilities. Under this brand she has been involved with projects in Spain, Germany, Norway, Portugal and the United States. She has been recognized internationally in the media and has received several awards in her career, such as the Massimo Dutti Nuevos Valores from AD Spain and the Wave of the Future Award for Hospitality Design. She has also won awards for individual projects such as the Hospitality Design Award, Wallpaper Award and Red Dot.
Her designs include L'Atelier Rouge in New York; Vino Veritas restaurant in Norway; Solera supermarket in Cologne; Hikari and Nozomi restaurants in Valencia and the Valencia Lounge Hostel.
