My project for course: Children's Book Illustration: A story in a moment

I don't think you can truly be brave unless you know what there is to be scared of. So I was sort of tickled by the idea of a kid that thinks they're super brave - but isn't paying enough attention to be aware of the scary things around them. Lucky thing they've got brave friends to help them through! I pictured a whole forest full of dangerous obstacles for our brave kid to stumble obliviously through, only to be terrified by sweet fluffy honey bees as they make their way out.
