Porcelain Lighting Projects

I have cast sheets of porcelain and hand built with them, being very delicate and thin means that I have to work very quickly before the clay dries and starts to crack.

Sometimes I use colour and when light is directed or used from the inside, the translucency of the porcelain is highlighted and the work becomes something else.

The kiln will often change the overall shape as it melts and fluxes, I enjoy how this part is out of my hands.
