My project for course: Artistic Architectural Drawing with Ink

I started off with a few personally significant objects. A book by an architect that I admire, a good novel, two decks of cards from when my wife and I were dating, a wooden bowl I turned on a lathe, and three offcuts from wooden pegs used at my job as a timberframe carpenter.

I arranged them fairly simply. I was thinking of something greek or roman inspired early on, but didn't have much insight beyond that.

The finished project went in a very different direction. I rushed the perspective a bit, but am happy with the results over all.

I got the window idea from the tree museum from @lukeadamhawker 's new book. The moon phases were primarily to keep the telescope from being mistaken for a gun.

Not really sure where I was going with this area, but it worked out.

I added the arched doorways early in the process. I may have gone a little overboard, but they are fun to draw!
