Hello!
I'm doing the course (and I'm loving it) but it won't let me get into the community because it tells me "the course isn't available until the 28th", but I have an easy question: what size frame is you using?
Thank you!
@tmoyab Hello! The course will be available from Friday 28 . Due to an error in the app that they are already trying to solve, you could see it but there may be lessons that have been seen incomplete or skipped so I recommend that on the 28th you watch it again from the beginning, that day will be 100% complete. Regarding your query, I use a 60 cm frame , but you will see that in the materials lesson I talk about frames and give other options (maybe that lesson you could not see, it is one of the first). Sorry for the inconvenience! A kiss!
Thank you very much @carobello !!! In a few days I will see it again and I hope to be able to upload a project soon 🤗, in the meantime I will try to find a frame with those measurements although I get the feeling that in Madrid it is difficult ☹️.
Bsos !!!!
@tmoyab the contrary! In Madrid there are more things than here in Buenos Aires hahaha. Visit Almacén de Pontejos, it is a famous haberdashery that has everything. You can also order through Amazon. Then tell me if you got 😘
Hahahaha hope you find it easy !!!! @carobello I only see 30cm as looooong, but today I will pass by Pontejos which is true that he usually has everything. Thanks for the suggestion. Then I confirm you! 😘
Hi @carobello !! Impossible, everything maximum 30cm, but nothing happens because I found another frame in 43 * 43 plastic Pontejos. Thank you very much for your help !!!
Hello, I was looking at the first 2 lessons but without taking notes and now that I want to get my materials, I cannot see the 2 previous units where the materials for my project appear. I will not be able to see the course again from the beginning?
Hi.
I want to use the same oxford punch needle that you use, it seems to be the easiest to use.
Could you tell me where I can buy it? I am from Mexico and I have looked for it everywhere, even pages like amazon, and nothing :(
@gomezcandia Hello! It is not so easy to buy, it is not sold anywhere. This is the official site: https://amyoxford.com/ I bought it when I went to the United States because it is not sold here in Argentina.
If you want you can buy the ones from Mercado de Hazando that are very similar and also comfortable. They sell them on the instagram of @lanasubelanabajamx
Hello, it has not been easy to locate the fabric to start the project. I had the fabric used for cross stitch embroidery, but the needle has turned out to be very thick and in the case of Jute, the same thing happens to me. I had to resort to looking for the mesh that is used to make rugs for the thin fabric one. The thickness of the needle, the wool and the fabric, is the most important. Thank you Caro Bello, for the clarifications in the video.
@crojasrojas Hello! Jute is the one that I use for the course and the one that I always recommend, you may have to look for a more open jute, or a not so thick needle. If you want, send me a photo on the course forum so I can see if the combination of materials is correct.
@carobello Thank you very much. Yes ma'am, I have already sent you the photographs and I must upload them where is the final project published? Thank you
@carobello Definitely have to check out the fabric issue. Since with the jute and rehearsing with the needles that I have, the point falls apart or does not hold. Thanks a lot
