The story you tell is great and has a very realistic family tone.
The characters are similar and not very comical, so it makes the drama of the story balanced with the visual.
The animation is fine, although the kid skates a bit while walking, but arms and head ok.
I would have liked to see how the father ends up turning off his laptop or some other detail that makes him react and realize the "call of his son". It is not known if it still continues to pass from him after the text message.
Although not everything has to have a message with a happy ending, this social protest maybe yes.
