@pablo3169 Hi Pablo, I'm curious to know what your alternative ending is. My feeling is that he might go on some kind of adventure, something you hint at when you write about the boy's fears, maybe something happens that he couldn't have imagined. You describe the landscape beautifully and make it a big part of the story, almost as if it's a character. I like that! My suggestion would be to experiment writing the story in the third person, so to start with something like: "El recuerda la vez que aprendió a andar a caballo..." I think that might also free you up to add more details. What has happened in the narrator's present that has made him remember this time – has a cousin come to visit? Is he in a forest in a very different place? Has he seen a notice that the house is for sale? See if you can bring the present into the story, too. All these are just suggestions :) Keep exploring. I enjoyed the story and the tone of nostalgia in your writing – there's a good sense of rhythm in your work. Thanks for sharing the story with us and for your kind words about the course. Un abrazo desde Madrid!
