My project for course: Playful Typography for Powerful Communication in Illustrator

I started with a theme that I cared about. For me, equality in all its forms is something I feel strongly about. I played about with different words to express this and decided on 'All People Equal'. I sketched out varying compositions in pencil until I felt happy it was on the right track. Then I brought the sketch into Illustrator and began to draw over it with the vector pen. At this point I used multiple artboards and made changes, tweaked and developed. When I was satisfied with the composition of the words, I looked to add colour and perhaps some extra shapes. Once I had my final piece, I set it up for print, created mock ups and explored other ways I could share my design with the world.
