FREAKING!!!! NOBODY HAS SUBMITTED A PROJECT SO COMPLETE!!!!
now I'm going with the comments of the video, but seen the form, I already want to work with you,
Wow!!
If I had to rate (we don't) or evaluate...your project would clearly have an OUTSTANDING!
Just as it sounds. And not because the video is outstanding (which from my point of view, it is not), but because your project and proposal show a lot of work and desire behind it, and that Raquel is one of the things that I value most in my courses and that I the long one seems to me more important to demonstrate things.
But how are those shooting plans, please!!!
Wonderful! and the story and the DOSIER!!!
Everything in your project breathes professionalism and seriousness (you take it seriously, I mean) and that is greatly appreciated, because I am aware that it is not easy to get involved with a video clip (whether with or without media...), I live it daily, either in my courses or in my own meat as a filmmaker!
About the video itself, I will tell you in advance that seeing how well you explained the whole process (which I also appreciate, and that would already be a reason to give you work), it is true that the video has left me a little cold . And I'll explain it to you:
I tell you in advance, that I love that you are ambitious. I am too, and I love that you get into the world of VFX even without means or experience, as you see reality prevails, but it is better to try than to stay without trying anything. But it hasn't been your artisanal effects that have left me a little the same, but the story.
On the one hand, I really value your narrative intention, that again, just the idea of trying to tell a story and the fact that there is so much location would be another reason to give you an A as work (I'm a bore, but I want you to have Of course, your project seems to me a 10 for many things, despite not being round or with a commercial finish). I really like that you tell a story and that it also progresses in a format that is as cinematographic as possible, what happens is that you stay, for example, for almost two minutes narrating the day of the groundhog in a location that does not seem the most attractive to me ( personal opinion ). and it also gives me the feeling that the color grading in that part could be more interesting, (I think you could have played with the lights, and other types of shots, to tell the same thing...) in any case, I find it especially long, even knowing that other things would come later, the average viewer is not going to wait...
Although there are shots that I like like the one with the eyes, you have to wait for a good moment for the video to break, and it does it well! You haven't been left with a little plan and you give us many types of movement and again that speeds up the video and the rhythm, although again I don't understand (as you intuited), the use of filters, you don't need them!!! not only they are outdated but they give it an amateurish look, which you don't need, since any IG video has the same effects and is better handled. Also, to tell all that about friends, I understand that as a flashback, you could simply resort to color grading) but hey, it's a stylistic decision and as such, I respect it even if I don't share it.
I think the best part in every way is when we see the protagonist running through the fields and roads, it's where you grow the most as a director, but also as an editor and postpo. I think that is where the video should start and not abandon that aesthetic, but I understand that it was very difficult to throw everything that way, also for your story you needed some interiors.
Well with all this said, you have my full attention and respect!
You have shown me a lot of interest and desire to work and create, and as I told you at the beginning, with that you are already 70% of the way done!!!!!

Docent PlusWell let's see, let's go by parts:
