I really enjoyed Marcus Penna's course!! Great approach to the phased creation process, from the initial sketch, to the highlighting of light/dark, and especially the "water belly" technique for a smooth color fusion. Congratulations!!

Very interesting! I learned a lot! Very interesting artist! Natural and authentic. The subtitles in German are poorly translated, I couldn't understand everything.

Marcus does a great job of explaining his step-by-step process for creating expressive watercolor portraits of human figures. It is not a traditional figure-drawing class, if that's what your looking for, but more of a tutorial on how to capture the light and emotion of a human figure in an abstract way. I am new to drawing and painting humans, but I enjoyed the course immensely.

I thought I'd learn litteraly to sketch people with watercolour, as I do from time to time: painting in situ, from observation. Nevertheless it was a pleasure to watch Marcus painting.

Marcus made the study of the human body fun and enlightening, his less is more approach to colour, is what gives his work its uniqueness. I really enjoyed following his teachings.

I really thought I would learn to draw and paint people, to illustrate a watercolor, and not a whole person. I think this course is mistitled. You don't learn to draw characters. We take a photo, we Photoshop and we only paint a character. I'm disapointed.
