@thelmaguzmanvas14 Hi Thelma, thank you!
I did the book with my 7 year old son inspired by the school where he studies. We did it during lockdown.
The music in the video doesn't match at all, hehehe, but since he also participated in the project, he chose that music.
@pgenovs thank you very much !. It was many weeks of work, but I finally finished it. I thoroughly enjoyed testing mechanisms, researching, and looking at books.
For me it is gratifying to be able to touch something made with my own hands. My work is completely virtual and it has been a long time since I created something tangible.
I am already thinking about the next project.
@silvia_libracos Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and waking up my sleeping girl who played with paper dolls and made cardboard houses.
My son learned a lot. Waiting for the next year!
Hi @pilych . Thanks a lot. I have no prior experience. After doing this course I started researching books on Pop Up mechanisms and watching many tutorials; I also learned from the videos on Matthew Reinhart's YouTube channel.
Greetings from Galicia, Spain.
Hi Niri!
Absolutely love your son's and your job:) Its amazing. Thanks for a tip about Matthew Reinhart youtube, it's cool. I wanted to ask do you remember by chance the name of that mechanism where the birds pecked the cat and it ran away in a hurry, and you pulled down and facade of the wall changed. It looks like miracle!

Plus@khatian_v Hi Victoria!
Thanks for looking at my project and for your comments.
The mechanism is called Mariposa-waterfall (Butterfly_cascade), Silvia explains it in a video. However, I adapted it a bit and made it somewhat different, although the effect is the same.
This is the link https://www.domestika.org/es/courses/958-creacion-de-libros-pop-up/community/forum/topics/149404-nuevo-cascada-mariposa#
I hope it has helped you.
Best regards,
Niri
