We haven't worked on the hair, it's a pretty complicated additional level.
As you can see, the hair affects the final appearance of the surface.
Try to maintain a geometry with enough divisions so that the character's snout looks smooth.
To have a better presentation result, play with the lights:
Use the main light at a 45 angle to the camera.
Add a secondary light opposite the direction of the main light to highlight the character's silhouette.
