Initiation day for the musical theater association Curtain Call.Kept using a 85mm lens throughout the initiation to give more focus on the moments.Competition that one of our members (woman in white shirt) participated on TV.Members cheering and enjoying the performance. Tried to fit as much people as I could on the frame.Pizza!! Always a life saver in activities. Tried to use the side of the boxes to make the composition more interesting. One of the members reacting at the message being given during the initiation. 85mm is my trusted buddy.Heartfelt speech by our association leader. Actually cried during this.Initiation begins, kept one of the candles as the subject and reduced the exposure to focus on the candid fire.Award ceremony for the members. Each member passed through a red carpet while we all cheered. Tried to increase the shutter speed to catch the action.Managed to focus the shot on the professor proudly taking a video of his students. Once again, love the aperture. Used my 18-55mm lens for this group picture of all the members. I love all of them so much. Some of the memories along the way with all of these beautiful souls.

This is such a nice photo reportage, you have beautifully captured an important event for these people and I can feel the strong connection you have with them through your pictures. That's a true talent!
I particularly like the use of a narrow aperture, which gives a special feeling of warmth to the macro pictures.
There seems to be an issue with your focus as some of your pictures are slightly out of focus. This may have been caused by a small hand shake when taking the picture or/and a slow shutter speed. A soft focus can also be caused by a narrow depth of field, which is very difficult to achieve when your subject is moving.
I recommend you to play with these settings once more and carefully think where you want the focus to be in your frame. You then import them into your computer and zoom in to see if the focus is sharp.
And remember, when you are photographing people you should always focus on the eyes, because they are very expressive.
