First tier: It was time to pay my parents a visit in NRW.
Second: One question from the kitchen was to be reckoned with. (bubble: Uli? Can Eddie have a grape?)
Third: The dog had his own problems to face: contradictory commands (Bubble: Sit!, underneath: command for Down!)/But it didn't take him long to figure out how to use this to his advantage. (Bubble: good boy!)/ For me it meant that I needed to work on his commands for a while after the visit, just because a terrier is very independent. Status is not a gift.

Insegnante PlusWow, you are really cranking out these pages! The second tier is an interesting choice of drawing - with no characters being shown. It puts a lot of emphasis on the setting - and especially that shelf. Is there something of importance to the story on there? Or an item that will be important later? When I end up with a panel that is entirely text (like you have at the end) I usually try and spread it out, either in previous panels, or push it into future panels, to try and make sure there is always some visual element present. It's only one sentence though, so I think it works fine here - just something to consider as you continue making comics!

@phasesevencomics Actually the tiny sheep in the book shelf is of some importance ... and biographically the books themselves (they are all my translations so far - as I am mostly a translator in real life). Great suggestions, thank you.
PS: Yeah, cranking is the right word ... I am applying for a grand - application is due on Thursday, that boosted my productivity. ;)

Insegnante Plus@ulibrauns Excellent! I figured there was some reason you focused on the bookshelf - it was such a strong choice. There's nothing like a deadline ;) Good luck with the grant! I hope you receive it.
