WITCH!

I was asked by a collector to create a witch---but not just any hook-nosed, pointy-hat-wearing witch: He wanted it to be the most realistic witch ever. So I sat down with as much old age reference as I could find, and read a few books on witch lore, finally coming up with this design, which the client loved. Great attention to detail and character were paid in this piece, and eventually, hairs was punched into the finished silicone head one by one, as well as eyelashes and a few random whiskers. In the following photos, you can see the many stages the sculpture went through to be complete.
