Wow!! You have been busy!! I love the postcards of Portugal--I really got a feel for it and could detect how much you love it. My favorite is the little dragon (crocodile?) and his impish expression. Very well done and fun to look at! :)
@robocat Thanks so much for checking out my project! I really love Felix's loose drawing style and carefree approach to watercolor. His course exercises were great and really helpful; that said, I wanted to be sure to try to stay faithful to my whimsical style keeping focus on my characters. In the end, I decided that imaginary buildings as a setting for the character was a lot better than trying to do more faithful "urban sketching." :-)
@fabiennebegonia Thank you so much! I wanted to post all of the sketches/assignments because the somewhat zig-zag trajectory of my progress felt interesting to me. :-)
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Wonderful, so many great results! It's really fun to see what you've achieved.
And to be honest ... you don't have to teach anything anymore, you are so skilful with drawing, color and composition ... I'm impressed!
@scheinberger Hi Felix, your comment and feedback means a great deal to me - thank you! I really adore your loose drawing style and masterful way of using watercolor. I found the course lessons to be really well designed, thought-provoking and helpful. As I continue to refine my own style, each and every concept and technique I learned will definitely come in handy.
Thanks again! :-)
