Thank you for completing the course and submitting the project.
I liked to see how you applied ideas that we discussed in class in your series, such as light and shadows, silhouettes, reflections, layers ... very good, now it's time to continue shooting, trying to combine the aesthetic part with scenes that are increasingly meaningful to you.
The light in your city looks incredible, and I think you're enjoying it very well.
In the first photo, I thought that the white car hides the character and steals a lot of attention from the golden light at the top. Still, I think the photo works.
I really like 2, the silhouette design is great. I think maybe you could lower the highlights a little bit in the treatment, to bring more details and texture to the sunny wall.
The composition of 3 is incredible, I really liked the mixture of the trees at the top and the confusion of the city at the bottom.
At 4, I think again you could try to recover the highlights more, if you have photographed in RAW.
At 5, the character on the right and his shadow have a lot of strength. At 6, I thought the light was amazing, but the passing characters don't tell me much. If possible, try to explore this scenario again.
At 7 you got close to people, and you controlled this intense light and their movement, great.
At 8, I can see your intention, but I think the light didn’t help you to capture the reflections. There is not much contrast and the characters were very distant.
9 is very different from the others, I don't know if I would leave it in the series. Not only because it is in PB, but because you shoot from top to bottom and use a much more rigorous and geometric composition.
I thank you very much for your considerations. His course helped me to be more attentive to reflections and light. In addition, I feel safer to shoot on the street after watching your work.
Photo 9 is not really part of this series. I like it, I think the geometry was very good, but it doesn't work in this series.
About photo 4, unfortunately I didn't shoot in RAW, but do you have any more specific tips for working in JPEG?
In photo 8, it happened very spontaneously, I saw Brasilia blue and I thought it would give a good framing. After I saw the photo on the screen, I thought that if it had more light, it could have some more significant contrast.
