Hello Karen. I enclose my final project, which I was finally able to complete (time was very tight this month). I loved working with this method, I hope to continue practicing and developing portfolios for my embroidery projects. I liked the harmonies of close analogs and complements more, since in general I don't like very strong contrasts. The monochrome palette seemed very flat to me and I added a second accent, fluorine green, but later I realized that it belongs to the range of complementary ones. When I can embroider this design I will try to add the fluoride, I find it fantastic in small doses. I would like to know your opinion. A hug.
Your portfolio is super! I like that you have taken note of the harmonies that seem most pleasant or related to your tastes. I usually use the one from close complements, I love the results it gives. In the spirit of continuing to experiment and fine-tune the eye, I recommend that you try the other harmonies but this time using colors that have less contrast, for example, only desaturated tones or pastels. The same harmony is going to be in charge of lighting up those colors; If you find that it is too flat or lacking in contrast, one by one goes "lifting" some of the colors to add more vibrancy to the palette. Good luck!
