Hello! I love your project and I want to ask a question about the course: In the end, is the animation saved as .gif? Because I want to learn how to make animated gif with AE (with Photoshop they are a bit chunguis).

I'm glad you like the project :)
The gifs are made with Photoshop. The latest versions of AE do not have a codec to export to GIF.
The key is to use flat colors so photoshop doesn't make messy gradients.
@zenzuke is a very good teacher, and I highly recommend the course. I learned to get a lot out of the Puppet Tool.
