My project for course: Paper Cutting Techniques for Storytelling

This project has been like one refreshing creative journey for me. I have always been in awe of paper-cutting. In many of my artworks I like carrying out random cuttings. Even in my sketchbook cutting, pasting is something which I love to maintain.

Making a storyline, then working on its frames, drawing out the designs, cutting the layout, figuring out the negative-positive space, all this has been a lovely experience.

The storyline of this project revolves around the two protagonists the lion and a deer. It narrates the nature's criteria of living and our simultaneously working food chain. How one's survival is dependent on another, the ongoing nature's food-web and how both the beings will eventually becomes one into the matter.

It has been a refreshing creative experience. I think I would love to make such projects more.
