OMG! Will write in English if you don't mind, someone else might benefit from the feedback as well;)
Thank you so much for taking part, hope you had fun spending time with me;) I absolutely love your illustration! You should be proud, it's such a warm and cute portrait. You managed to capture such a special moment and show all love between you two. (and touching hands, my fav thing!)
I think you did an amazing job with the composition, character design and playing with different aspects of drawing, mixing paint and pencils. For the first attempt, this is just great.
Of course, I'm gonna give you tiny notes you can think about in your next artworks - You already have good intuition about where to use linear drawing to make your illustration interesting - like cutlery or a bottle on the table. Or chairs in the back - it gives such a great dimension. With that being said, it's not needed everywhere and would encourage you, before adding coloured pencil/paint as an outline, to take a second and think if it's going to add a new value to the drawing - for example, a white menu naturally creates a strong shape because it's surrounded with dark colour, maybe just subtle line in the middle to separate 2 pages would be enough. Same with your beanie and hair.
I think I would also go stronger with the plant on the left so there is a visible difference between those inside and those behind the window.
Please keep creating, I can see you are capable of making your family and friends happy with your portraits! ;)
hugs,
Daria
Dear @daria_solak_illustrations thank you so much for your comment and feedback.
I do appreciate it very much. Since I have done the coloured outlines more or less intuitive your feedback is so valuable to me. I will definitely use it while creating my other drawings.
I had so much fun during your course.
I will use the knowledge and continue to make portraits for my loved ones😍
Thanks again! Big hugs
Monika
