I recreated that part of Thumbelina when she was prepared for her wedding with the mole. According to the original tale it was end of summer, so I created a shiny, yellowish palette which shows how the sun's strenght is decreasing but Thumbelina's sadness becomes visible in the purple shadow where she stands with her back to the mouse.
