@annabelle_m_illustration Thank you so much Anabelle, coming from such a great illustrator that really means a lot!. My obsession with serpents is slightly worrying!
Wow!! I love so much these ancient shapes, like precolombinos, and such a beautiful mistery within them, I love so much detailed forms, the textures, the color versions, the symbols. Absolutely love everything in this proyect! Thank you so much for sharing it and inspire us with your work and process!
@catalinaestrada Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on this work. It really means a lot to me. Your work and your course has inspired me so much. There is so much joy and playfulness in your extensive work which we need in the world right now! I loved seeing the Chivas vans too. Opened up a whole new world to me!
I Iove these heads VERY much, also your color combination. If you do not mind - just as an idea: perhaps you could try to work also with rotation and mirroring to get them in a more "ornamental combination". How would it look like? :)
@lkey Thank you so much for your positive feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I also appreciate the advice. That’s a great idea to rotate the heads, especially on a scarf of handkerchief where you fold things from each corner. Take care, Craig
Yes, if you do not mind further: to my opinion the look a bit lost right now. You have to find a way to bring more together to really get an ornament. the best teacher for that is Catalina ;)
What´s your profession? Do you have a website? Take care too, Elke from Germany
@lkey Thank you so much Elke, great tips. Yes they were all completed very quickly, I need to go back and invest more time to it! I really appreciate your tips and advice and will definitely take it all on board.
I am a graphic designer and illustrator and I specialise in designing ranges for Museum Shops Which I've been doing for about 20 years now. My website is:

OMG Craig! I just looked at your websites!!! This would be one of my favorite customers to work for museum shops! Do not get me wrong when I write YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOO LUCKY! I didn´t find a way yet to do such work. The first thing on every travel plan for me is to look which museums the city I visit have... Also my main topic of my ornaments and colors is "tradition & modernity". I love your TREASURES OF THE BRITISH LIBRARY very much :) In fact I really love all of your projects.
Please got to
www.crossoverdesign.com It shows my main ornament designs I did yet. But I am looking also for more artistic ornaments in the field of "nature love". I am since years fan of Catalina - that what she is doing I would like to do in my style. I experimentet already and participated to an art prize. So new designs I will publish after end of prize. But I am still looking for my own "design language". I think I am doing too many different styles. But one style published like Catarina is the only way to have a recognition - my conclusion in the last days
And believe it or believe it not - I have tears in my eyes after seeing your websites. I deaply grant you your success, because you are very good in your designs!!! I just wished I had only one of your customers.... I do not know how to find them. Right now I am looking to find a new way to promote my work... I am struggeling since years and Corona again hits me hard.
I thought on you last days but didn´t look after your new comment here. Because I realized during last works on my last design for the art prize I would like to have the opinion of another professional too to questions I have which variant do you think would be the best one for example. If it is interesting for you too, perhaps we should look for a way to exchange thought outside Domestika.
