We loved meeting your proposal in the forum, it is a composition with a formal force that stands out, your process of integration of the various elements that make up your piece is very interesting, because there is a lot of harmony in how all the pieces that are part coexist of this collage, it works well as a whole, it is a very clean image, but with deep meaning. We are glad that you found this process fun because this is the main objective of this workshop, to enjoy every moment of the creative process.
Thanks for sharing your work on the forum, congratulations on this interesting image.
Hello everyone, these are my print results. In the end I did 8 transfers with acrylic, of which I inked 5. The solvent technique did not solve it.
The ink that I used is for offset printing and as seen in the photos I tried several color palettes. So far I have not used white for mixing. With the darker palettes, I did not ink the matrix much, trying not to make the image too heavy visually. Later I will try to integrate white for color mixes.
In some cases, I added a greater amount of petroleum jelly to the ink than indicated in the videos, hoping to obtain a greater transparency in the color, only that on the image that has a rubberized effect by the acrylic it created an effect that did not work very well: Q but I really like to work from "accidents", I think that afterwards I will modify those zones manually.
I want to thank Sonia and Julio for the course and the feedback, I really enjoyed it. Personally, seeing the effects that the matrix leaves on paper was one of my favorite parts. I didn't think the matrix would survive after rolling and washing for color palette changes, but it's almost like new: D
Else thank you for sharing your results of the final project. The play of color of each of the prints, gives a different connotation to each of the pieces obtained, connects you with different sensations and feelings. It is also interesting to see the impression of the printed collography without the main image, how the texture is marked on the paper. Remember that these processes are enriched with practice, so if you liked the approach to these techniques, it is advisable to continue making pieces, so that from errors you can adapt this technique to your creation language. We thank you very much for your talent, energy and commitment to finish the project. For us it is very satisfying to see your final results.
