Love this! What clay did you use? Your clay looks amazing, but not the smooth terracotta used in the demo. I have a crank clay which is quite sandy/gritty and was about to give up, but maybe I will keep trying.
@balmy_02logins Hi, I used micaceous clay for this sculpture. I bought it at New Mexico Clay (online). It is a low fire earthenware clay that contains mica. Many potters use it for coil building, but I loved using it for sculpture.

I really love the expressive gesture of the neck, and the slight turning of the head. Really well done!

Fantastic! Will have to try this clay. I love how you added the picture of all angles.
