Photo and progress. My husband thinks that it looked better before I added the grass. I like some bits and some not so much. Done using a fountain pen with a fude nib, which gives quite a range of line sizes.

Teacher PlusNice work, Jean! I like how you captured the meerkat's character in the drawing, and there are exciting approaches to textures in the tree stumps and fur. I'm glad you found the Fude nib a helpful tool; I've heard it can produce a wide range of line qualities.
