That course has brought very positive changes. Now embroidery is my wonderful hobby.
I used the tricks taught in the course but could not resist embroidering what I wanted.
I started with tiny landscapes to turn them into brooches of 30 mm in dimension. After that, I came up with the idea to embroider some of the most famous paintings. Van Gogh's style is an ideal to start.
I wanted to give my brooches a finished look to give them as gifts to my friends, so I created a simple packaging.

Wow Elina. So pretty. You have inspired me. I love making home made gifts for friends too. I am doing birds and insects but paintings are a fabulous idea too. You would not have to worry about copyright. I am certain your friends are thrilled. I live close to the Quebec Border north of Ingleside Ontario and am in Montreal frequently to visit family. That and a visit to the Art galleries makes life wonderful. I will have to search for little brooch frames.

Thank you Heather for your kind words! @heathermegill_1 Indeed, embroidery brings so much joy, especially when idea becomes real and the project is completed from start to finish. I loved the idea of tiny embroidery pieces as they are take much less time to complete and do not let me to lose focus and interest. I also love museums and recently was lucky to visit Van Goghs's museum in Amsterdam and see his paintings. Wishing you to create your tiny masterpieces in the nearest future!
